Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for activities of the sales operations function to reach business targets and financial goals. This is a vital role working cross-functionally not limited to Sales, Support, Orders, Finance, focused on increasing overall sales productivity. He/She will manage all non-selling operational activities for Asia regions, providing close support to the region leadership and sales teams to ensure business continuity, managing systems, tools, reports, analytics as well as develop sales compensation and quota plans.
This position reports to the Director of Sales Operations and Finance, APJ. It is important that this position fosters close, cooperative relationships with leaders, sales management, sales & support teams and cross-functional teams across the business.

Key responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Partnership with region leadership team to understand business strategy and ensure that the appropriate operation support mechanisms are in place to manage and meet the needs of the business 
  • Direct responsibility will include a business consulting role, working closely with diverse user groups including senior and regional management, sales, marketing, finance, human resources and legal to deliver timely, accurate and actionable business information
  • Tracking sales results versus individual objectives, maintaining and reporting sales compensation plans, annual and monthly revenue tracking and reporting, ad hoc reporting, renewal tracking, both top and bottom-line financial analysis
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes used with the sales organization. Proactively monitor and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the sales organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement, work closely with region leadership to inspect sales process quality and implement change for improvement.
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other business intelligence essentials to the sales organization. Recommends revision to existing reports or assist in the development of new reporting tools as required.
  • Identify productivity trends across the region and use insight from reporting to create and drive efficient processes to improve productivity 
  • Provide reporting and analytics support for the range of operational requirements- pipeline metrics, productivity metrics and KPIs. Use CRM-Salesforce and other systems to provide clear and concise data 
  • Meet frequently with Order Administration and Customer Care teams to identify areas of improvement to increase order turn-around time and overall customer satisfaction
  • All other duties as assigned
