As a Systems Administrator you will:
Responsible for delivering the infrastructure to provide customer facing systems and cloud services to Sophos customers. Monitor the systems on a 24X7-shift basis, take action on resolving issues and follow defined escalation paths.
Participate in a regular 24X7 shift rotation
Monitor the CIS infrastructure per defined procedures
Acknowledge alerts and start the incident process
Apply first level resolution procedures as documented and follow documented escalation procedures for incidents
Act as a first point of contact for Tech Support, IT, Labs and qualify their requests.
Experience working in systems administration with Windows and Linux
Experience providing user support and system troubleshooting
Knowledge of Cloud computing
Ability to communicate clearly, verbal and written
Good customer service skills
Awareness of newest and latest technologies
Displays strong desire to learn new technologies
Continue to develop skills via self-study or classes to enhance performance.
Customers are pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism
Users are knowledgeable on how to use IT supported systems
Results are achieved within the agreed timeframes that are compliant with the projects standards and quality program
Tickets are closed quickly but resolved with quality.
Regulatory controls, information security guidelines, and company policies are effectively managed and monitoring reveals no deficiencies
Consistently update development plan with manager
